Web Content Management / Web Support - New Job Position


Job Description

Gap Wireless Inc. is actively seeking a Web Content Management/Web Support individual for a 3 month contract (renewable) opportunity at its Mississauga, Ontario office. The ideal candidate will have experience with Web Page lay-out and design as well as Web Content Management knowledge. Skills required for this position are 1+ years of experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript along with ability for creating visually appealing graphics. Experience with PHP and MySQL is not required but is considered an asset. This individual will not only be responsible for Web Content, but will also have Backup responsibilities. Ability to work both independently and as a team to meet deadlines, goals and objectives are essential to the success of this role. The individual will work as a member of the ecommerce team.

  • Schedule: 40 hr/week
  • Hourly Pay: Negotiable
  • Contract: 90 day terms
  • Start Date: Immediately

Education & Experience

  • 1+ years in web content creation
  • College Diploma or Certificate

Technical Skills:

Must be proficient in following web technologies:
  • HTML, XHTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Crop, edit and optimize images as needed along with creating banners.
  • Experience with PHP, MySql is an asset

Non Technical Skills:

  • Self-driven, motivated, accountable and able to take full ownership of tasks
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, self-starter with ability to multi-task.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to go the extra mile when needed
