Product Information

RFS delivers a cost-effective, in-building solution with its plenum-rated air-dielectric coaxial cable, the backbone of the ClearFill® Line of products. CATVP-rated, with low flamespread and low-smoke characteristics, it is ideal for use within the building plenum defined as the "environmental air handling space." This permits use of the cable as part of an in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS). Plenum-rated cables, tested in accordance with the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) testing method 262, have the most stringent flame-retardant and smoke-suppressant characteristics. Due to their low attenuation, outstanding heat transfer properties, and temperature-stabilized dielectric materials, RFS plenumrated cables provide a safe, long-term operating life at hightransmit power levels.
